Our sprawling log home is built over the edge of Whisperwood Creek, graced with a long balcony just a few feet away from the creek's edge.  When the weather is warm enough, we can serve your breakfast in the dining area w/crystal hutch, or creekside on the big picnic tables under the covered porch, or soak in the hot tub!

 
   But winter is no disappointment!  The large oak table in the dining room overlooks a beautiful meadow.  Our country kitchen with blue tile counters and feels as though the sky has been brought indoors, with a wall of glass bringing in sunshine.  The walk around fireplace wall includes a bread oven, old fashioned kitchen wood stove, and fireplace with glass doors opening into the living room!




    We have plenty of good books to read.  Relax in our living area and bring your favorite CD's for music, or listen to ours.  We have a checkerboard table, TV and VCR, but limited reception.  The music room includes a piano, which my daughter would LOVE to play for you!  You are welcome to try your musical talents, too!



     Our meeting room, if there are no groups using it, is on the end of the house, surrounded by glass, and sports a ping-pong table, area stove and lots of room for your aerobic exercises and other play.  Best of all are the walks in the woods, along the creeks, or short jaunts up the national park trail heads in Cosby, just a few miles away.  There the names of the rooms will come to life, as each room is names after a trail in the Smokies, a trail you might want to explore!
